Welcome to Kowapay! By accessing and using our fintech and bills payment services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use or access the services in any manner.
Account Creation and Usage:
These Terms and Conditions regulate the provision of financial services and bills payment functionality by Kowapay, a fintech institution, to the Customer.
To use Kowapay's services, you must provide accurate information, including your date of birth, Bank Verification Number (BVN), current residential address, and other KYC requirements as prescribed by relevant authorities.
You must promptly update your profile with any changes to your information to ensure effective communication.
Conditions for Use:
Before becoming a member, you must accept these Terms and Conditions, register on the Kowapay platform, be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident, be at least 16 years old, and have a bank account with a Nigerian financial institution.
You agree to provide truthful and accurate Customer Information and notify us promptly of any changes.
User Information and Authorization:
Upon registration, you authorize Kowapay to obtain, verify, and record information for identity verification and the provision of financial services, including bills payment.
This includes providing a copy of a government-issued ID, utility bills, and other necessary documents.
By using the platform, you grant Kowapay and its third-party service providers the authority to access and retrieve information from financial institutions and other relevant databases.
Customer Consent:
By signing up or logging into the app and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you consent to electronic communication, sharing of data with affiliated third parties, and automatic debiting of your bank account for various purposes outlined in the agreement.
This includes receiving materials, disclosures, and alerts electronically.
Disclaimer and Limit of Liability:
Kowapay is not responsible for financial insights or recommendations provided to users.
Users acknowledge that investment results are not guaranteed, and Kowapay cannot be held liable for any losses.
Kowapay provides educational information, and users are responsible for their investment decisions.
Disclaimer Warranties:
Kowapay's website and services are provided on an "AS IS" basis, and Kowapay disclaims all warranties, including accuracy, security, and reliability.
Limitation of Liability:
Kowapay and its officers, directors, employees, or agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
Kowapay's cumulative liability to you shall not exceed NGN10,000.
Termination of the Account:
Kowapay may terminate the Agreement at any time and for any reason, subject to applicable law.
Termination may occur for default or inactivity on the account.
Governing Law:
This agreement is governed by Nigerian law, and the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have jurisdiction in any matter arising from it.
